Q. Who launched 3G Mobile services in Andhra pradesh?
BSNL Andhra Pradesh has launched its 3G Mobile services in the all cities of Andhra pradesh.
Q. What are the basic offers in BSNL?
Presently in new 3G prepaid, the promotional plan with FRC-120 is only offered to the New customers with freebies like free download (25MB) & free video call (50min).
Q. Can existing customers migrate to 3G?
Yes. The existing customers can migrate to 3G & use all the features with present 2G SIM itself (Change of SIM is not mandatory). However if customer insists for USIM (For higher capacities & new features) the same can be replaced (swapped) on charging Rs.59/-.
Q. What are the options and the procedure for 2G customers to migrate 3G services?
For existing 2G prepaid customers there are two options for 3G.
a. Migration: To 3G general 120 plan (by sending SMS "M3G120" to 53733) free of cost.
b. STV-98: After migration to 3G, they can use STV-98 to get tariff of 3G promotional plan with tariff validity of 365 days.
Q. What about the Postpaid customers?
For existing post-paid 2G customers, a fixed monthly charge of Rs.25/- is charged extra for 3G features @3G General plan tarif (by sending SMS "M3G25" to 53733). New postpaid customers can opt for 3G services along with 2G plans, at the time of applying itself.
Q.Which handsets supports BSNL 3G services?
The customers should have a 3G compatible Mobile handset (Dual camera / set especially for Video calls ) for utilizing all the features of the 3G services.
