Barath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) competenet authority has decided to offer SMS facillity by default on all Prepaid and Postpaid Data card connections irrespective of CDMA 1X or EVDO service.
The SMS charges for CDMA 1X and EVDO connection are as follows:
Local charges: Rs.0.60/SMS
National Charges : Rs.1.00/SMS
International Charges: Rs 5.00/SMS
The abvove bsnltariff will beimpelemented with effect from 16-09-2011.(According to the BSNL Telecom Circles feasibility for implementation)
