What are the documents to be submitted for BSNL concession?
The document confirms the relaxation (Freedom Fighter / War Widow / Blind) along with Proof of Identity and Address of the customer may submit to the concerned commercial officer to make an entry in BSNL CDR allowing concessions.
Can customers get the same concession on BSNL broadband / Bharat Fiber
No, the above concessions are applicable only for BSNL Landline services, where the broadband concessions are applicable for Government employees at 5% and 60% for BSNL employees (serving/retired).
Can we get exemption on Security deposit?
No, the operator won’t allow any exemption on Security deposit for any category, but allow exemption of Advance Rental Deposit (ARD) of Commercially Important Customers(CICs) with minimum of 5 and more connections, and also if there is any default in payments, the security deposit will be levied in coming bills, and also it is applicable only for landline (BFone) services.
Whether a non combo broadband customer gets landline & broadband discount at a time?
Yes.
Example 1: Assume that, if a connection booked under blind category and is a government employee means, he will get 50% rental discount on landline rental and 5% broadband discount, but if it is a combo broadband plan means, only 5% discount is allowed.
Example 2: If a connection booked for BSNL employee having Broadband non combo plan, he/she will get free rental landline and 60% discount on Broadband rental charges.
